Preseason Update #4

Only two weeks till the season kicks off on June 9th. Ramadan is down to the final week and we are excited to announce our charity initiatives for the season.
1. BSL Ramadan Campaign - DONATE NOW. We are excited to announce our 2019 Ramadan Crowdfunding campaign. We are asking our players along with their family and friends to donate through our campaign to help single mothers in the GTA with their Zakat. We have set a goal of $40K through National Zakat Foundation to help over 200 single mother families. Visit www.nzfcanada.com/bsl to contribute and view our launch video.
2. Team Charities. Every team has selected their team charity that they will be playing for this season. All proceeds from the league are donated to each charity and all teams will have a fundraising day for their charity at the softball field. Here are each of the charities for this season:

Mamluks: Fasting 5K
Mughals: Naseeha
Nasrids: Hope Foundation
Ottomans: Hospital for Sick Children
Seljuqs: Islamic Relief
Sultans: Human Concern Intl
3. Podcast Series continues. The next release of the podcast series has been released featuring the Nasrids and Seljuqs. Our final GM installment will launch this Tuesday.
